A two-day Indian wedding on Lago Maggiore. The first day began with a civil ceremony in the formal gardens of Villa Frua in Stresa. The following day the celebration continued at Castello Dal Pozzo.

A multi-day celebration combining European elegance, Indian traditions and the atmosphere of the Italian lakes.

Chapter one

The gardens

Formal gardens, ancient trees and terraces give way to something more beautiful than the last, until you reach the lakefront.

Where Villa Frua is intimate and elegant, the castle is grand and ancient, and it makes every celebration feel larger.

The lake

The morning light in the upper gardens is not the afternoon light on the lakefront terrace, which faces west, and neither is the golden hour over the water.

The castle

Within the castle walls the celebration became larger, louder and more openly joyful.
